It is indeed often counter to common sense, and that's why I still hate Venn Diagrams about what activities Jack did not did not participate in on his way to buy bread at the store...

If there is one thing I would give anything to forget it is an entire class of the University of Oklahoma's Math 1493: Math for Critical Thinkers. (Also colloquially known as Math for Philosphy Majors, Math for Poets, and Math for Trees.)
