The President's Address tonight...

First, before I give you a preview let's all collectively remember something.

    1. A small group of terrorists were responsible for September 11th.

    2. There were not associated with Iraq in anyway.

    3. We diverted our attention away from those terrorists when we invaded Iraq.

    4. We still don't have Osama Bin Laden.

    5. We are not combating world wide terrorism in Iraq.

    6. The President and his counselors wanted to go after Saddam long before September 11th.

Now that that's out of the way, let me provide you with a preview of what the President will have to say tonight about the ongoing quagmire in Iraq:

(September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq, (September 11th), Terrorists, Iraq.

It's mostly Terrorists and Iraq, and September 11th just as above will be mostly parenthetical.

The question I still have is simple. How many people will have noticed tonight that the President has re-written history yet again?

Remember this post and think of me when the thought police come to take me away.

  1. Wow. I mean wow.
Dont worry Hippy, unless fanatic political views coupled with the need to make the Republican party your 'Catch-All Scapegoat' suddenly become a crime you'll be fine.

  2. I don't see that as being all too remote actually. If you can be kicked out of a Bush "town hall meeting" or removed to a far away "free speech zone" because of your differing views, it won't be long until that slippery slope comes into play. We already see the wingnuts stirring up the sentiment to lead down that road. There's this idea that if you question the country's motives for going to war or in any way disagree with the Bush administration, you must be an unpatriotic, liberal pussy, who doesn't support the troops. I find this idea ridiulous, as I love America very much and feel as partiotic as the next person. I support our troops, but I don't support the war... this is a fair distinction that many fail to acknowledge.

Anyway, we'll continue using the Republicans as the "catch-all scapegoat" as long as the wingnuts continue using the liberals as the personification of evil.

  3. I love it how liberals like to make these wonderful slippery slope theories when it suits them, i.e. 'thought police' coming to arest those who dont want to be baptist or republican, but reject slippery slope ideas when it comes to the sanctity of marriage! And by the way sweetheart, it takes a conservative sex goddess to really sex up a man. Ask me if you need a few suggestions.
