When something big is going down and I don't see that scary bastard, I start to wonder if there's something wrong with him.
Back at the end of June, I made mention of a rumor he was having cardiac trouble.

In Worse Than Watergate, John Dean says Cheney has been gravely ill and worsening through the whole 5 years. Indeed, Dean's opinion was that the hiding from us of the fragility of the Deputy Leader was one of the greatest Bushist perfidies. I don't agree with that, though. It is hard for me to see how it could hurt the operation of the gov't if Cheney dropped dead. I don't know Dean's current opinion on that matter.
